What do I do if I forget my password?

What do I do if I forget my Username?
Your username is the email address used when you registered for a PayLoadz account. Your username will be in valid email format like: "emailname@isp.com". You can have your password mailed to your username by entering either you Username email address or your PayPal email address in the Password Reminder form. After filling in the form, you will receive a notification that the password has been emailed to you and the email address will be displayed. Check the Inbox for the specified email address to retreive the password and username for the account. Be sure to check your Junk folder or any mail filter programs which may filter the email we send to you. If you still cannot determine your username email address, send us a link to the web page where you sell your item at. By looking at the code on teh page, we will be able to lookup your account information and send you your username.        Top

What is PayLoadz?
The PayLoadz system works in conjunction with PayPal or Google Checkout to provide anyone who wants to sell a digital product the platform to do so. It is especially useful to merchants wanting to sell intangible (digital) goods to customers right from their own web site or in online auctions. No special programming or server requirements needed - just cut and paste the HTML code we provide.

What are PayPal and Google Checkout?
These checkout systems allow people to send money to anyone with an email address. There are no financial requirements, no credit checks, no software needed, nor web site requirements to use these payment systems. PayPal and Google Checkout allow you to accept all major credit cards and allow payment from bank accounts and money transfers. These are excellent payment solution providers for those people who do not want to go through the hassle of getting a credit card merchant account, an expensive web site, or internal accounting system.

How does it all work?
This is how PayLoadz delivers your digital goods to the customer:

  1. A customer browses a web site and finds a product or products that they would like to purchase.
  2. They click the “Buy Now” links generated from the PayLoadz system to add an item to their shopping cart.
  3. Once finished adding items, they click on “Check Out” to purchase their items.
  4. They will be prompted for their PayPal or Google Checkout Username and Password. If they do not have an account, they will be given the opportunity to create one or to check out without creating an account using a credit card or bank account as their funding source.
  5. After they have completed the payment process, the PayPal or Google Checkout server communicates with the PayLoadz server and provides the transaction details to our system. This communication takes place “behind the scenes” neither the customer, nor the merchant, sees this process.
  6. Our system then sends your customer an email which contains custom “thank you” text that you specify during the product creation process, and a link to download their product. They are also redirected to the download page, immediately after payment at PayPal and Google Checkout, that provides them instant access to their purchase.
  7. The link is an encoded link that, when clicked, processes at the PayLoadz web site instantaneously and prompts the customer with a download popup box asking to “Save” or “Open” the file.
  8. The entire process happens in a matter of seconds. You are notified with two emails, one duplicate of the email sent to the customer from PayLoadz, and one for Notification of payment from PayPal or Google Checkout. We send the duplicate download email to you in case there is any problem with the email delivery to the customer. A person can purchase and download your goods in under a minute.      Top

Do customers need PayLoadz accounts to buy goods?
No. Your customers will likely never see the PayLoadz web site. All shopping and customer purchases take place at your web site through PayPal. After PayPal has confirmed payment, we send an email to your customer with a direct link to download the file. This link is unique to each customer to allow tracking and provide security for your products.

We do include a link to the PayLoadz web site in case the customer would like more information on the transaction; however, they are not required to register with PayLoadz to receive your goods.

Who uses the service?
The following types of people use this service:

  1. Anyone who wants to sell a digital product. You need not have your own website to sell digital goods at PayLoadz.
  2. Merchants who sell their own digital products via PayLoadz on their own websites and eBay, via the PayLoadz eBay store, at the PayLoadz Store and by using PayLoadz GoLinks in their emails.
  3. Customers who buy digital products via merchants' websites, affiliates and resellers’ websites, on eBay and directly from PayLoadz at the PayLoadz eBay Store. In these cases customers will not even be aware that they are getting their products via PayLoadz. Customers can also visit the PayLoadz Store direct and buy products there.
  4. Affiliates and resellers who sell and promote merchants’ goods via their own sites, websites, on auction or using Go Links in emails.

What digital goods can be marketed with PayLoadz?
Any electronic product that can be downloaded can be marketed at PayLoadz. This includes video, audio, eBooks and software.

Is there a limit to the number of items I can sell on PayLoadz?
There is no limit to the number of items you may sell on PayLoadz. File storage capacity and transaction limits can be adjusted to accommodate as many products and transactions as you wish.

How long does it take for customers to receive their downloads?
Your customers should be able to download immediately after paying for your item at PayPal or Google Checkout if their payment is cleared. Once they click on the "Continue" link at PayPal, they will be taken to a download page. If the order has not been processed, or the payment is pending, then the customer will receive an email with the download links when the transaction has completed.

What do I need to be a PayLoadz seller?
Anyone can sell on PayLoadz and it’s FREE to register. You can be up and selling your digital content in just a few minutes - all that you need to begin is listed below:

  1. Your own email address.
    You can use an existing email address you have or you can create a new one. We recommend
    gmail if you don't have an email address.
  2. A free PayLoadz Account.
    Sign up for a PayLoadz Account at our registration page. It is a one-step process and takes just seconds to complete.
  3. A PayPal Business or Premier account, OR a Google Checkout account.
    You can sign up for a
    PayPal account at this page at their site. You can sign up for a Google Checkout account at this page at their site. You only need one of these accounts to use our service. You may also use both accounts if you like. They do not have any monthly fees and provide free registration. If you do not have either, we suggest signing up for a PayPal account as it is easier for most people.

Optional Items:

Your own website.
If you have a web site, you can sell your items listed with PayLoadz directly on your own web pages. If you do not have a web site, don't worry, you can still sell your digital goods in the
PayLoadz Store.

eBay Account.

Our system also allows you to sell your digital goods in eBay Auctions. This is a powerful marketing and selling platform that works well with our service.      Top

Do you guarantee to sell my products?
We are so confident in our service's ability to sell your product, that we will pay any PayLoadz Premium I account holder 150% of the first month's fee if no sale results from using the system.

Are there different types of accounts? What is the pricing structure?
The Basic Account is completely FREE. We also have several other levels of service including Premium Accounts which add features and security to the service. More information can be found at

What are the transaction limits and file storage limits?
Each account type has its own transaction limit and file storage limit but should you exceed these we do not restrict service to your account. We simply send you an email asking you to upgrade your account level at your earliest convenience. More information can be found at

How much bandwidth am I allowed to use?
You are allowed unlimited bandwidth to sell and deliver your goods. The service fees are based on storage space and transaction volume which roughly equate to bandwidth costs, but they are not cited directly. The transaction volume is the main component of the costs.

Can I auction digital goods on eBay with PayLoadz?
Yes, customers like buying digital products in auctions. You should review the
eBay Digital Item FAQ before listing your item. If you do not have, or do not want an eBay account, you can list your item for sale in the PayLoadz eBay Store by following the steps in the seller’s help section. We also support the following auction sites:

I don't have a web site. Can I still use your service to sell my digital goods?
Yes, there are four ways you can still sell your goods:

  1. You can list your item in our store and customers will be able to purchase it directly from there.
  2. You can list your item in an eBay auction or eBay store.
  3. You can use affiliates to sell your item from their web sites.
  4. You can include purchase GoLinks in emails you send.      Top

Can I sell in multiple currencies?
You can choose one currency per checkout system in which to sell your products e.g. PayPal USD and Google Checkout EUR. Of course, you can sell in one currency only across all checkout systems.

Where do I set my tax information
Sales Tax collection is required for many sellers. They should learn about the local, state, and federal tax laws for their respective location and situation. We are not able to answer any specific questions regarding whether a seller needs to collect taxes on their product sales or not. We suggest they speak to an accountant regarding this issue.

How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your account, log in and click on the Account tab.  Scroll down to the "Close Account" link.
You will get an alert that you need to cancel your PayPal subscription first and will be linked directly to PayPal's search to complete that process. The system will not let you close the account until you downgrade as your account will continue to be billed if you don't cancel through Paypal.    Top
