Discounts

You can offer your customers discounts using our system if you are selling multiple products from your website.

Please note: Discount codes do not work on the PayLoadz store.

You can create a new discount at the following address in their account: https://www.payloadz.com/sell/disc_setup.asp -  or you can access the Discount feature discount functions via the "Selling" tab in their account.  For step-by-step instruction please see below:

Note: The discount system requires the use of the PayLoadz Shopping Cart enabled in the PayLoadz Profile and the use of one of the GoLink "Add to Cart" button code/links in order to function properly.

Our system supports the following types of discounts:

• Discount Code Flat Fee - Buyer enters discount code provided by the seller and is given a flat fee discount off the price of the items in the cart. Example: $1.00 Off with Coupon Code.
• Discount Code Percentage Off - Buyer enters the code provided by the seller and is given a discount equal to the amount specified by the seller from the total amount of their cart. Example: 10% Off with Coupon Code.
• Number of Items Flat Fee Discount - Buyer receives discount based on the number of items in the customer's cart as specified by the seller gets the customer a fixed amount off. Example: Buy Two or More, Get $5.00 Off.
• Number of Items Percentage Discount - Based on the number of items in the customer's cart as specified by the seller customer receives a percentage amount off. Example: Buy Two or More, Get 15% Off.
• Value of Items Flat Fee Discount - Based on the value (cost) of items in the customer's cart as specified by the seller gets the customer a fixed amount off. Example: Buy $10 Worth of Items, Get $5.00 Off.
• Value of Items Flat Fee Discount - Based on the value (cost) of items in the customer's cart as specified by the seller gets the customer a percentage amount off. Example: Buy $10 Worth of Items, Get 15% Off.

To create a Discount:

In order to offer a discount, you can go to the "Selling" tab in your account, select "Manage Discounts" on the left hand side of the page and then select to "Create New Discount". This will bring you to the discount page where you can enter in the information needed to create a new discount.



1. Discount Name -  Enter in the discount name

2. Discount Type - Determine and select the discount type that you would like to offer, either percentage or flat dollar amount.

3. Discount Method - For the discount method, you can choose to apply the discount based on the customer entering a discount code which we will provide you or you can choose to apply the discount based on the number of items in their cart or based on the the total value of their cart.

4. Discount Amount - Provide the amount of the discount in either based on a percentage or flat dollar amount.

5. Start Date and Expiry Date - Please select the date that you would like the discount to begin and end.

6. Domain Name - This is optional and not required unless you are trying to restrict the discount to a single domain.

7. IP Address - This is optional and not required unless you are trying to restrict the discount to a single IP Address.

8. Maximum Discount Count - This is optional and not required unless you are trying to restrict the number of discounts allowed.

9. Save - Please select "Continue" to save the discount.
